Thank you for electing me to the NC House of Representatives

Since being elected I have met with a lot of folks who represent various private and public organizations. I have met with college presidents, town mayors, county commissioners, heads of several local government agencies, leaders of many nonprofits and others. All of them good and dedicated people with the interests of their respective constituents clearly in mind. I have learned much about their needs and relationships with state government. I have tried to be as accessible and open as possible to all. I believe that is part of my District 6 duties. I may not agree with everyone but everyone should have access to their Representative. Meeting with folks allows me to find out what my constituents think about various issues and gives them a chance to know my views with the opportunity to influence them.
